Building Blocks Wellness Center
Building Blocks presents Mindfulness and Wellbeing, which is a 6 weeks course aimed at establishing a daily meditation or prayer routine. Each week goes over a different object of attention: the body, the breath, kind intent, difficult emotions, goodness in life and an open space.
Meet the Teacher
I’m Joanna and the class I offer is an introduction to meditation which teaches various types of practices along with an explanation of their benefits. I also present current scientific findings of how these practices influence our health, both physically and psychologically. While it is not a substitute for any medical or psychological care, it is a useful adjunct that may support you on your quest for a better experience of life.
I am a Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher from a Two-Year Professional Training Program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
6 week classes provide in person weekly meetings, recorded meditations to practice with, and handouts. They are in-person but also available on zoom for friends out of town or when you have to miss a session.

Cost is $90.00 for the 6 week course and is a pledge of intention to learn. Scholarships are available if needed.
